Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, Manipur reported 14 new positive cases as against four recoveries and as has been the trend these past few days there was no report of any Covid-related death during the same period, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 14 persons who tested, four of them are from Imphal East, three from Imphal West, two each from Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kakching and one from Thoubal. A total of 223 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 6.3 %
Meanwhile, four persons recovered and were discharged, two of them are from CCCs and the other two from home isolation. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.42 %
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 119 out of which 1, 34, 958 have recovered leaving 41 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on April 2, is 250 the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,91,776 (1st dose 15,41, 950, 2nd dose 11,83, 468) and precautionary dose 66,358.
