COVID: Arunachal reports 314 new cases, 3 deaths

As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Capital Complex reported the highest at 55, followed by Tawang 41and Namsai 37.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh continued to witness rise in COVID-19 cases with detection of 314 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 23,867 while death toll rose to 95 as three more succumbed to the virus.

As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Capital Complex reported the highest at 55, followed by Tawang 41and Namsai 37.

Barring 141, all the patients are asymptomatic.

According to the bulletin, of the three casualties, a 40-year-old man died on Friday at DCHC, Tawang, while a 70-year-old man Saturday early morning at DCHC, Tezu in Lohit district, and another a 35-year-old patient who was referred from DH, Likabali, Lower Siang district expired on Saturday at DCH, Chimpu here.

On the other hand, 291 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 20,836.

Active cases stood at 2,936.
