Imphal: Six persons from the general population tested Covid positive in Manipur, four persons recovered and were discharged while there was no report of any Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Wednesday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the six persons who tested positive, one is from Imphal East while the rest five are from Imphal West. Altogether, 80 persons were tested, amounting to a positivity rate of 7.5 %.
The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.44 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 266 out of which 1, 35, 128 have recovered leaving 18 active cases in the state.
The total number of doses administered on June 28, is 2,269, the cumulative number of doses administered is 29,58,928 (1st dose 15,92,012, 2nd dose 12,57,352) and precautionary dose is 1,09,564.
