Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Friday, five persons tested positive while 15 persons were discharged. During the same period there were no reports of any Covid-related deaths in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the five persons from the general population who tested positive, two each are from Imphal West and Imphal East while one is from Churachandpur. Altogether, 163 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.1 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 876 and active cases at 12.
As on October 27, 2022, 158 persons were vaccinated, bringing the total number of vaccination to 32,53,648 (1st dose 16,47,215, 2nd dose 13,33,022 and precautionary dose 2,73,411).
