Imphal: Seven persons from the general public tested Covid-19 positive while one person recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 pm of Monday. During the same period, there were no reports of any Covid related death, as per an official press note from the Covid-19 Common Control Room
The seven persons (4 males, 3 female) who tested positive include 3 from Imphal West, 2 from Tamenglong, and 1 each from Bishnupur and Imphal East. Meanwhile, one personnel of CAPF was discharged.
The cumulative death remains at 374 while the recovery rate now stands at 98.51%
Meanwhile, Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on April 2, 2021, by the Indigo flight 6E-6181 in rows 4-10 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,435 (General Population — 25,9989 and Central Security Personnel — 3,446). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,998 (General Population — 25,561 and CAPF— 3,437). The number of active cases is 63 (general population 58 and CAPF 5).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on April 5, is 923and the cumulative vaccination number is 88462, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 31733 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
