Washington: The global death toll from COVID-19 has gone past 3.077 million while the number of cases crossed more than 145 million said the US-based Johns Hopkins University in its latest update.
Johns Hopkins University is the most credible institution that compiles data related to coronavirus the world over.
As of 20:30 GMT Friday(0200 hrs Saturday) the number of cases the world over stood at 145,095,141, including 3,077,628 fatalities.
The United States still has the highest case count in the world, with 31,968,306, including 570,932 fatalities.
