COVID-19: Arunachal continues to see recoveries exceeding daily cases

The North-Eastern state has registered six new Coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours that swelled its tally of confirmed cases to 55,167, while nine people have recuperated from the disease in the period. With this, the state’s active caseload further dipped to 82, a senior health official said.

The North-Eastern state has registered six new Coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours that swelled its tally of confirmed cases to 55,167, while nine people have recuperated from the disease in the period. With this, the state’s active caseload further dipped to 82, a senior health official said.

Of the fresh cases, Lower Dibang Valley and Leparada reported two cases each and Lohit and East Siang came up with one each. Four of the new cases were found to be asymptomatic and two symptomatic.

In the meantime, altogether 4,633 people across Arunachal have received COVID-19 vaccine doses during the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeded the 13.23 lakh mark, the official said.
