COVID-19: AP reports 21,320 fresh cases, 99 deaths

The Pandemic has claimed the lives of 9,580 patients so far. There are 2,11,501 active cases in the state now while 21,274 patients recovered in a period of 24 hours.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh continued to struggle to check the rising cases of Coronavirus as the state registered a whopping 21,320 positive cases while 99 more patients died in a period of 24 hours.

A health bulletin here on Tuesday said that 91,253 swab samples were diagnosed during a period of 24 hours ending at 9 am today of which 21,320 were tested positive for Coronavirus while 99 more patients died.

The Pandemic has claimed the lives of 9,580 patients so far. There are 2,11,501 active cases in the state now while 21,274 patients recovered in a period of 24 hours.

Highest number of 2,923 fresh cases was registered in East Godavari district, 2,804 cases were registered in Anantapur district, 2,630 cases were registered in Chittoor district and 2,368 cases were registered in Visakhapatnam district.

The total number of cases has risen to 14,75,372 while 12,54,291 patients have been discharged from hospital as they recovered. So far 1,81,40,307 swab samples have been tested in the state.
