Patna: Congress on Sunday invited the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav to join its ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra under Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
A delegation of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee led by party political affairs in charge of Bihar Bhakt Charan Das called on Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday and exchanged pleasantries in the presence of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi and Tejaswi Prasad Yadav.
During their meeting, Das apprised Yadav about the details of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and told the RJD leaders that Gandhi was getting immense mass support and cooperation for his padayatra.
Inviting Tejasvi Prasad Yadav for the march, the delegation also requested him to join the Gandhi-led mission.
