Churachandpur: The constituency-wise commissioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trial (VVPAT) machines is being conducted at DTC Hall, Tuibong Thursday.
The commissioning was conducted under the supervision of AROs in the presence of the Observers, ROs, contesting candidates or their designated agents.
The commissioning procedure will only be completed after mock polls are conducted to ensure the flawless functioning of the machines. Once the commissioning process is completed, the machines will be stored and sealed in the strong rooms located at Old Mini-Secretariat, Tuibong.
On the other hand, final round of training for polling personnel was started Thursday at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Tuibong. The training will be completed on February 22, 2022.
Moreover, special training for all newly appointed and promoted PRO (Female) and other polling officers, all PwDs polling personnel and other PRO requiring additional training was organized at Rengkai Government. Hr. Sec. School, Rengkai since Wednesday.
