CMs of North-Eastern states congratulate frontline workers on crossing 100 cr vaccination mark

They also heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that his determination has made it possible to achieve this historic feat.

New Delhi: Chief Ministers from the North-Eastern (NE) states on Thursday congratulated health care workers and concerned authorities as the country achieved the historic feat of 100 crore vaccination against COVID-19.

They also heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that his determination has made it possible to achieve this historic feat.

Taking to Twitter, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said, “What a phenomenal achievement! India has crossed a total of 100 Cr vaccinations today. This is the might of the New India driven by the collective spirit of 130 Cr Indians. Thank you PM Narendra Modi Ji for making this feat possible. Salute to the frontline warriors. #VaccineCentury.”

“Vaccine Century is a moment to cherish forever! We are so proud of your determination Adarniya Pradhan Mantri Shri Narendra Modi ji that has helped us achieve this historic feat. It also exhibits triumph of your steely resolve Sir. Big congratulations to doctors, nurses and officials,” Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.

On the occasion, Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma in a tweet wrote, “Our country crosses the 100 Crore Vaccine doses mark! A remarkable effort by our frontline workers across the country who continue to ensure the vaccine reaches the remotest corners of the country. #VaccineCentury #100CroreVaccination #BillionDoses.”

Extending his best wishes, Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb in a social media post wrote, “India achieves the inevitable under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, 100 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses administered. Congratulations to all health care workers and concerned authorities. #VaccineCentury.”

Sikkim CM Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang also took to Twitter and expressed his gratitude to the frontline workers and PM Modi on the occasion.

“India has successfully administered 100 crore vaccine doses. We are grateful to the frontline workers for their unrelenting dedication and our citizens for their active participation. I express my gratitude to our Hon’ble PM Naredra Modi Ji for his proactive leadership and guidance.
