Shimla:When entire state are groping in darkness and sticking to fireplace, six Employees of state electricity board have been braving and marching over heavy snow and performing their duties selflessly without consideration for their own safety or comfort.
Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was amazed to see these diligent, brave and adventurous Employees and decided to confer citation to them recognising their self less service.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu appreciated the six personnel who restored power supply in the snow by giving them citations. In the remote area of Dodra Kwar in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, six power department personnel walked through the snow to restore power supply at Chanshal pass. On this action, a worker of the Electricity Department made a video and SDM Vishwa Chauhan put the said video on his Facebook page. By watching the video you can imagine how difficult it is. This video then slowly started going viral.
When the video reached the CM office, the CM immediately decided to give citations to these six employees and today issued citations to all the employees by asking for their names. Citations to be offered to JE Shamsher Singh Thakur, Rambar Singh line man, Bhagwan Singh assistant line man, Jachpan, Madhan Singh and Chandra Veer of HPSEB. The work of SDM Dodra Quar Vishwa Chauhan has also been appreciated.
