Imphal: Chief Minister of Manipur, Yumnam Khemchand Singh has condemned in the strongest terms the brutal attack at Loibol Khullen village, Kangpokpi District today morning, which resulted in the killing of three innocent civilians.
Terming the act as heinous and cowardly, the Chief Minister asserted that the deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians is completely unacceptable and the government will not spare those responsible for this barbaric act. The Chief Minister has directed the state police and central security agencies to immediately apprehend the perpetrators at the earliest. He also instructed concerned authorities to enhance security in vulnerable areas and provide necessary relief to the affected families.
CM CONDOLES POLICEMAN’S DEATH: Yumnam Khemchand Singh also condemned the brutal stabbing to death of Havildar Kh. Suresh Singh (4th IRB attached to CDO Thoubal) while on duty on the night of June 3, 2026. He lauded the Thoubal District Police for their prompt action of arresting the main accused on June 4, 2026. The Chief Minister extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family of deceased police personnel.
