Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended his “best wishes and warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Ima Imoinu Iratpa”.
Imoinu Iratpa is celebrated with traditional gaiety and religious fervour on the 12th day of Manipuri lunar calendar.
Seasonal fruits, vegetables and fish are offered to Ima Imoinu, the goddess of wealth and prosperity on the day to seek blessings of peace and prosperity in the coming year, the Chief Minister’s message added.
