Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Monday, extended his bests wishes to all those who are appearing in the Class X and Class XII examinations under BOSEM and COHSEM respectively.
Stating that these exams were conducted through the Alternative Assessment/evaluation Mechanism last year due to Covid-19, N Biren said that his government decided to conduct these exams physically as normalcy has returned.
Chief Minister Biren in his message to the students who are appearing in the ensuing exams said, “Do not be depressed by questions that you could not answer. Attempt good replies to those questions, the answers of which you have prepared for”.
Likening these exams to bridges that are laid for them to cross, he called on the students to “let go of stress and cross it with the calmness of thought and fairness of action”. “Make it an experience to learn from, for life will throw you many more steps and bridges to cross’, he added.
To the parents, teachers and guardians, CM Biren urged not only to motivate and guide the students so that “they can meet the challenges with confidence but also to get up and walk with greater learning and resolve if they do fail”.
Calling on the parents to be patient as these students face their first big test, CM Biren said the important thing is to “teach them to overcome fear at every step of their lives”.
