Imphal: A cleanliness drive will be conducted on Friday at Old Secretariat, Imphal to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Secretary of Manipur government will lead the cleanliness campaign at 9.40 am, said a statement issued by Koshoni Phimu, Under Secretary, General Administrative Department, Government of Manipur here on Thursday.
All the officers, and officials of Secretariat (Old and New Blocks) and sections are advised to take up cleanliness drive in their respective office rooms, sections, corridors, compounds. Unused items/broken furniture etc may be removed. However, Covid appropriate behaviour must be maintained by all, said the statement.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh will also attend a Swachh Bharat Program at Samu Makhong, Khwairamband Bazar on Friday at 7.30 am.
