Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh greeted the people of Manipur on the “joyous occasion of Christmas”. Stating that Christmas is celebrated by billions of people all over the world, he called on the people “to emulate Jesus Christ’s message of love and forgiveness by opening our hearts and extending a helping hand to everyone”.
“The festival also provides an opportunity for the people of the state to forget ill-will and misgivings, and forgive our enemies and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.”, he added.
The Chief Minister wished that the Christmas festive season of love of joy will “usher in an era of peace, harmony and prosperity in this beautiful state of ours”.
