Shillong: A bomb exploded here in Meghalaya on Sunday evening, leaving no one hurt, police said.
The blast occurred outside the Shillong Wine Store in Police Bazar at around 6-30 pm. A team of senior police officers has rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
“Police have cordoned off the area. Forensic and NSG teams are inspecting and examining it,” an officer said, adding further details are awaited.
No one was injured in the incident as most of the shops were closed on Sunday in view of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of Covid19.
