Imphal: A powerful bomb blast has been reported here today at Lamlong Keithel which blew off the door of a pharmacy and other shops in the area.
Police said the blast occurred at around 0245 hours and the impact of the blast could be felt in most of the shops in the area.
A pharmacy near the blast site was badly damaged and most medicines stored in it were burnt. Police and Fire tenders rushed in and the area was cordoned off.
Police have started a probe into the incident.
There is no casualty so far.
