Kabul: Nine students were killed and four others injured when a mortar shell exploded in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province on Monday, provincial office said.
The victims are were students of Versak elementary school in Lalpur district of the province.
The Khaama Press quoted Hakmakhan, a local influencer, as saying that the rocket-propelled grenade, was brought by a student for sale in front of the school.
