Panaji: Political strategist Prashant Kishor on Thursday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will remain in Indian politics for many years to come and it will not go anywhere.

In a video clip, which has gone viral, Kishor is seen saying, ‘Whether they win, whether they lose, like it was for the first 40 years for the Congress. BJP is going nowhere. Once you secure 30 per cent plus votes at the India-level, you are not going away in a hurry.”

Kishor, who is currently lobbying for Trinamool Congress, also asked the audience not to get into the trap that people were getting angry and they would throw away Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Maybe people will oust Modi, but the BJP is here to stay. They are going to be here, they are to fight it out for the next many decades. It’s not going in a hurry,” Kishor said.

Meanwhile, reacting to the statement, Goa Congress President Girish Chodankar said agenda of TMC has been exposed as it was entry electoral fray to divide votes.

‘Since last 1 month TMC landed in Goa, I have always said that @AmitShah & #ED were behind sending @AITCofficial to #Goa. Now, their strategist whose services are hired has confirmed my apprehensions when he said BJP is here to stay. #TMC is here to divide the votes. Agenda exposed,’ Chodankar said in a tweet.
