BJP filed nomination in Dhalai for civic body poll: Tipra Motha frayed three candidates

As a part of the statewide submission of candidature by BJP candidates, the nominations were submitted for the two urban bodies in the district. For Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur 11 candidates frayed their nominations for 11 wards.

Ambassa: Ruling BJP filed nominations for two urban bodies in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai today whereas royal scion Pradyot Kishore Devvarman’s party frayed three candidates for Ambassa Municipal Council in the district.

As a part of the statewide submission of candidature by BJP candidates, the nominations were submitted for the two urban bodies in the district. For Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur 11 candidates frayed their nominations for 11 wards.

Before the submission, a mammoth rally roamed the different parts of the town led by the state cabinet member Manoj Kanti Deb, BJP Minority Morcha leader Jasim Uddin and other party leaders. On that occasion, Manoj
claimed that all the 11 candidates would mark thumping victory to form a corruption-free urban body to ensure the highest mark of civic services.

In Ambassa, 15 candidates submitted their nominations for 15 seats of Ambassa Municipal Council. Prior to it, a rally led by BJP Dhalai District President roamed different parts of the urban area.

In between, the party of royal scion Pradyot Kishore Devvarman Tipra Motha frayed three candidates for three seats here. Earlier, the Left Front submitted the nominations for 12 seats. TMC might submit their candidates tomorrow for Ambassa Municipal Council. In Kamalpur, however, no opposition political parties even collected nomination forms to date.
