Bishnupur: District Task Force meeting for Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 Third Round for Bishnupur District was held Friday at the Conference Hall of DC Office, Bishnupur.
The meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram Singh was conducted to deliberate on the preparatory plans for the conduct of the Third Round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 which will be held from May 2 to 8, 2022. The meeting was jointly organized by the District Health Society & District Family Welfare Bureau, Bishnupur.
DC Bishnupur urged the officials to ensure that children, (0 to 2 years) and pregnant women are immunized in maximum numbers. He also suggested the officials to conduct publicity for the immunization programme so that people are well-informed and the service reaches the unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children and pregnant women.
Bikram Singh called on the health workers to work holistically at different levels coordinating with local bodies to achieve full immunization in the district ensuring that no children and pregnant women are left out. He further appealed to the public to come out and participate in the third round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 programme.
The Third Round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 for the district will be held in three different blocks. Nambol Block and Bishnupur Block will have one session of immunization each at PHSC Keinou and HWC Phubala respectively.
Moirang will have 18 sessions of Immunization at six different health centers- PHC Kwakta, PHC Thanga, PHSC Ithing Kholla, HWC Keibul, HWC Pombikhok, and HWC Wangoo Ahallup.
The Third Round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 4.0 targets to provide complete immunization for children and women. The district has already completed 2 rounds out of 3 rounds. The three rounds of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2022 have been planned to catch up on the gaps that might have emerged due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, H. Bobby Sharma, Assistant Commissioner to DC Ejaj Hassan, CMO Bishnupur, Dr. L. Raichandra, District Family Welfare Officer, Dr. L. Kuber Singh, and other officials concerned.
