Udaipur (Tripura): Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday inaugurated the Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital in the South Tripura district.
Union Health Minister Bharti Praveen Pawar, MLA Shankar Roy and others were also present at the inauguration ceremony of the 100-bed sub-divisional hospital.
In course of conversation with DM & Collector of South Tripura district Saju Vaheed A said that the Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar has visited Sabroom subdivision hospital and appreciated the administration for the completion of COVID-19 vaccination to 97 per cent people in the respective district of Tripura.
In accordance with the report of the health department, the subdivision level vaccination is also more than 90 per cent in case of the first dose of vaccination in all the subdivisions of the district followed by Sabroom-99, Shantirbazar-96 and Biloniya-98 per cent.
The second dose vaccination drive has also been taken by the district administration in compliance with the direction of specialised doctors under the health department and it will be started shortly.
The Union Minister of State of Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar has tweeted in her tweeter account and said there that the newly constructed building of Sabroom Sub Divisional hospital will help in strengthening the health system of Tripura by providing comprehensive medical facilities to the people.
Saju Vaheed A, DM & Collector of South Tripura district said it also that the district administration is also focussing on different precautionary measures in accordance with the direction of higher authority of the state to protect the people from the third web of COVID-19. There are two oxygen plants at Sabroom and Shantibazar areas all set to function properly in order to provide all the benefits in the nick of the third web of COVID-19.
“The district administration is prepared with different experts in order to provide all the necessary benefit during the third web of COVID-19 and there were taken different measures to complete vaccination for all the eligible persons as early as possible. The door to door vaccination programme has also been conducted with the support of doctors, ASHA, Anganwadi staff and others and the district has achieved the record for the completion of vaccination to 97 per cent of people in South Tripura district of Tripura.
