Bharat Sevashram Sangha vice-president Swami Hiranmayanandji Maharaj passes away

According to sources, he joined the Sanghs in 1954. He was engaged in the service of the Sangh for a long time.

Kolkata:Bharat Sevashram Sangha’s vice-president Swami Hiranmayanandji Maharaj passed away in the wee hours in a city hospital on Saturday.

The Swamiji, Hiranmayanandji Maharaj, was admitted to a city hospital with age related troubles, official sources added.

He was 94. His end came around 00-30 hours.

According to sources, he joined the Sanghs in 1954. He was engaged in the service of the Sangh for a long time.

He was associated with the development of North Bengal districts for several decades. He had a special contribution in the development of the people of North Bengal and spread education there among the poor and underprivileged people.

The Bharat Sevashram Sangha has informed that the funeral would take place at Keoratala crematorium this evening.
