Imphal: Manipur had the best day till date as far as the Covid-19 is concerned in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday. During this period there were no reports of any death and only 4 persons (females) from the general population tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 4 persons who tested positive are from Imphal East, Kakching, Senapati and Tamenglong.
Meanwhile, 18 persons recovered and were discharged from Home Isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,139 (General Population — 25,701 and Central Security Personnel — 3,429). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,672 (General Population — 25, 257 and Central Security Personnel — 3,415). The number of active cases is 85 (general population 75 and CAPF 10). The recovery rate is 98.42%.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 9570. This include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs 78 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday and that the cumulative no of people vac, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics.
There is no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 37 mild reactions who are on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
