Asset survey ordered of inspectors in Andaman’s anti-graft body

People have been asked to give their feedback through social media about the assets of Inspectors posted in ACU in the last 10 years.

Port Blair: Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration Jitendra Narain has asked the Superintendent of Police, Anti Corruption Unit to hold a survey of all Inspectors, who have worked in Anti Corruption Unit for the last 10 years and their building, properties (including the properties in the name of their relatives and others) and ask the public to provide feedback.

Directions have been issued to complete the process by January 15, 2022, after public feedback and to submit the report to the Lt Governor and Chief Secretary of Andamans.

People have been asked to give their feedback through social media about the assets of Inspectors posted in ACU in the last 10 years.
The government has tasked Rajeev Singh, IPS, to investigate and report on the assets of all Inspectors in ACU in the last 10 years to the Vigilance Department for onward submission to the Lt Governor and the Chief Secretary.

“This report shall be completed by Rajeev Singh by January 15, 2022, after thorough detailed personal data collection and information from the various public through social media and public platforms. This includes all property assets, businesses, bars, hotels, restaurants in Andamans and maybe in the mainland,” sources said here.
