Assault and killing of Bihari labours in Tamil Nadu rocks Bihar assembly

Patna: BJP members walked out of the Bihar assembly on the issue of the killing of Bihari labourers in Tamil Nadu and accused the State Government of not taking cognizance of the incident.


As the members assembled for the day in the state assembly the BJP members created noise over the issue during the pre-lunch setting on Thursday.


Leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said that one can go anywhere in search of job but assaulting them at other places was highly condemnable.
He said that the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejaswi Prasad Yadav was celebrating Tamil Nadu chief minister’s birthday in that state but was not at all worried with the Killing of Bihari labourers. Bihar government was also not taking cognizance of this incident.


To this Minister Shrawan Kumar questioned under which provision the opposition leader had raised the issue during question hour.


Sinha said that Shrawan Kumar who was earlier parliamentary affairs minister must be aware of the rules and regulations of an adjournment motion on contemporary burning issues.


Sinha said the matter was more important than the short-notice questions.
He further said that other matters including fraud in appointments, and paper leaks should also be discussed in the house.


Meanwhile, the ruling party members too started creating noise to which the opposition leader said that the ruling party to do not want to run the house.
He said that the ministers and the ruling party MLAs were issuing statements instigating the sentiments and were also humiliating the Indian Army. They were trying to unleash an atmosphere of terror in Bihar.


The BJP members shouting slogans trooped to the well-waving posters which were taken away by the marshals. Later the BJP members disturbed the reporter’s disk and chair.


The question hour continued amid the pandemonium. Later the BJP members walked out of the house.
