Assam Rifles organises medical camp in Arunachal

Itanagar: A medical camp was organised by Assam Rifles at Wanu village in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh, a Defence spokesman said on Friday.

A total of 340 villagers, including 70 children were provided medical cover, and essential medicines were distributed on Wednesday during the medical camp, Guwahati-based Defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai said.

The villagers were sensitised about the relevance of personal hygiene, sanitation, usage of face mask and precautions to be taken during vaccination of Covid-19, he said.
