Churachandpur: In a resolute effort to inspire young minds and foster nation-building, Assam Rifles locayed at Veng organised an engaging Career Guidance, Indian Army Recruitment and Leadership Session at Young Learners School in Churachandpur district, Manipur, on 30 July 2026. The outreach programme aimed at generating widespread awareness about diverse professional avenues while encouraging students to adopt a life grounded in discipline, service and selfless leadership.
During the interactive session, speakers provided comprehensive insight into various career avenues, with a primary focus on joining the Indian Armed Forces. The attending students were systematically briefed on entry schemes, eligibility criteria, selection frameworks, prestigious training institutions and the foundational values underpinning military service. Emphasising holistic personal development, the speakers highlighted the significance of integrity, perseverance, teamwork and leadership as vital pillars for achieving success.
The event witnessed active participation from a total of 260 enthusiastic students. An interactive question-and-answer session allowed participants to resolve queries regarding strategic career planning, recruitment methodologies and competitive examination preparation. The vibrant enthusiasm demonstrated by the youth underlined their keen desire to explore meaningful vocations and serve the nation.
