Guwahati: Assam police seized 1.910 kg of morphine at Lahorijan in Karbi analog district on Wednesday.
In a late-night operation, Karbianglong police intercepted a bus at Lahorijan, and after a thorough search, two packets of morphine weighing 1.910 kg were recovered.
“Two people from a neighbouring state were apprehended in this incident,” Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on X (formally twitter).
