Guwahati: Union Agriculture Minister and BJP’s election in-charge, Narendra Singh Tomar today chaired a core committee meeting of the party and discussed strategies for the upcoming assembly elections.
Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, state BJP president Ranjeet Dass, DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh, BJP general secretary Vijayant Jay Panda, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, senior party leader Dilip Saikia among others were present in the meeting.
Sources in the party said that the meeting discussed the overall strategies of the party for the upcoming elections. The meeting also discussed the names of the party’s star campaigner in the election
