Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh registered only one fresh case in the the last 24 hours taking the tally of confirmed cases to 55,305 in the state, a senior health official said on Sundya.
In contrast, the hilly state saw five persons getting cured from the ailment thus pushing the total number of recovered cases to 54,997, he said, while adding that state’s active caseload has now been reduced to 28.
The lone COVID positive case was reported from Itanagar Capital Complex. The case, confirmed through a rapid antigen test, was found to be asymptomatic, the official said.
Arunachal Pradesh had collected merely 199 samples for COVID-19 testing during the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative figure to 12,01,318.
