Itanagar: As many as 71 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection tally to 52,831.
Out of the new positive cases, Lower Subansiri reported the maximum at 12, followed by Itanagar Capital Complex and Lower Dibang Valley 10 each and West Siang seven, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Of these, 36 patients are asymptomatic and 35 symptomatic.
According to the bulletin, 120 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 51,508. The recovery rate is over 97 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 1,063. Death toll at 260.+
