Itanagar: As many as 39 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection tally to 52,870.
Of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported 17, Lower Subansiri 12, Leparada and West Siang three each, Lohit two, one each from Lower Dibang Valley and Tawang, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Barring 14, all the patients are asymptomatic.
According to the bulletin, 136 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 51,644. The recovery rate is over 97 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 966. Death toll at 260.
