Arunachal reports 376 Covid-19 cases; two more succumb

On a positive note, 329 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 24,083.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload rose to 28,018 with detection of 376 fresh infections, while two more succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 118.

According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 82, followed by Tawang at 51 and Lower Subansiri at 36.

Barring 135, all the patients are asymptomatic.

As per the bulletin, of the two deaths reported, a 56-year-old woman expired on Tuesday at Dedicated Covid Hospital (DCH), Chimpu here and a 51-year-old female from Lower Siang died on Wednesday at DCH, Pasighat. They had tested positive through rapid antigen test (RAT).

On a positive note, 329 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 24,083.

Active cases stood at 3,817.
