Itanagar: As many as 364 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 28,382, while the death toll rose to 119 as a 41-year-old succumbed to the virus.

Out of the fresh new cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 58, followed by Tawang 50 and Lohit 44, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

All the patients are asymptomatic except 118.

According to the bulletin, a 41-year-old man who was referred from DCHC, Miao, Changlang district passed away on Thursday at DCH, Pasighat in East Siang. He had tested positive through rapid antigen test (RAT) and died due to Covid pneumonia.

On the other hand, 337 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 24,420.

Active cases stood at 3,843.
