Itanagar: As many as 305 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection tally to 48,565 while the death toll rose to 234 as three more succumbed to the disease.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported maximum number of cases at 79 followed by Lower Subansiri 39 and Papum Pare 25.
Barring 135, all the patients are asymptomatic.
As per the bulletin, of the three casualties, one each was reported from Dibang Valley, Lower Siang and Tawang.
On the other hand, the recoveries tally rose to 44,823 as 469 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours.
Active cases tally stands at 3,508.
