Arunachal reports 165 COVID-19 cases, tally mounts to 34,932

All the patients are asymptomatic except 54.

Itanagar: As many as 165 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 34,932.

Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 66, followed by Changlang 16, Lower Subansiri 13, West Kameng 11 and Papum Pare nine, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Upper Subansiri, East Siang and Lohit reported six cases each, Anjaw and Lower Dibang Valley four each, Kamle, Kra Daadi, Tawang and West Siang three each, Kurung Kumey and Tirap two each, Leparada, Lower Siang, Namsai, Longding and Pakke Kessang one each, the bulletin said.

All the patients are asymptomatic except 54.

According to the bulletin, 216 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 32,270. The recovery rate is over 92 percent.

Active cases tally stands at 2,495. Death toll at 167.
