Arunachal reports 120 new Covid-19 cases; one death

On the other hand, 240 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 50,100. The recovery rate is over 96 per cent.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 infection tally rose to 51,919 as 120 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while one more death pushed the fatalities toll to 255.

Out of the fresh cases of infection, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the maximum at 28, followed by Lower Subansiri 15 and Upper Siang 13, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Barring 51, all the patients are asymptomatic.

According to the bulletin, a 50-year-old woman who was admitted at DCH, Chimpu here, passed away on Wednesday evening. She died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome with Covid pneumonia. The body was handed over to family members as per Covid SoP.

Active cases tally stands at 1,564.
