Itanagar: As many as 94 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh during the past hours, taking the state’s infection tally 52,308.
Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the maximum at 19, followed by Papum Pare 11 and nine each from East Siang and Lohit, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Barring 43, all the cases are asymptomatic.
According to the bulletin, 192 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 50,887. The recovery rate is over 97 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 1,162.
Death toll at 259.
