Itanagar: As many as 48 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 51,348.
Of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported 30, Papum Pare six, two each from Tawang and West Kameng, one each from Changlang, Dibang Valley, Leparada, Lohit, Lower Siang, Lower Subansiri, Upper Siang and West Siang, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Barring 23, all the patients are asymptomatic.
According to the bulletin, 255 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 49,176. The recovery rate is over 95 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 1,920. Death toll at 252.
