Arunachal logs 475 new Covid-19 cases; two fatalities

Itanagar: As many as 475 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 42,564.

Of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 129, followed by Namsai 51and West Kameng 48, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Among the new patients, 261 are asymptomatic and 214 symptomatic.

According to the bulletin, of the fresh casualties, one each was reported from West Kameng and Lower Subansiri.

On a positive note, 412 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 38,040.

Active cases tally stands at 4,323.
