Arunachal logs 3 COVID-19 recoveries, no new cases

Itanagar: In a turnaround, Arunachal Pradesh witnessed three COVID-19 positive cases getting discharged following their recovery from the infection during the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, with no fresh cases reported in the period, the hilly state’s tally of confirmed cases remained static at 55,320, a senior official of the state health department said.

In contrast, with three recoveries recorded, the state’s active caseload dipped to 30, he said, while adding that 55,110 people have so far recuperated from the viral infection.

The state has thus far registered 280 casualties due to COVID-19 complications. 

On the inoculation front, Arunachal Pradesh has administered more than 14.46 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses to its eligible citizens till date under the nationwide vaccination campaign, the state immunization officer Dr D Padung said.
