Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh registered 14 fresh Coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours that mounted the state’s case tally to 55,134, a senior health official said.
Of the new detections, Itanagar Capital Complex, East Siang and Lohit reported three cases each, whereas Longding, Lower Dibang Valley, Lower Subansiri, Shi-Yomi and Tawang found one case each.
As many as 14 people also recuperated from the disease in the period that swelled the total number of recoveries to 54,739, he said.
With this, the Covid recovery rate upped to 99.28 per cent, while the positivity rate stands at 0.21 per cent and the case fatality rate is 0.51 per cent.
Arunachal Pradesh currently has 115 active cases, with 100 of them recuperating under home isolation.
The state recorded 280 casualties due to COVID-19 infections to date.
Arunachal Pradesh tested 575 samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative figure to 11,83,878.
The state has so far administered 13,05,413 Covid-19 vaccine doses to its 18-plus citizens under the nationwide vaccination drive launched on January 16 last.
