Arunachal finds 1 new COVID-19 case

39 of the total active cases are recuperating under home isolation. 280 persons have thus far died due to COVID-19 complications in the state.

Itanagar: Maintaining its declining trend, Arunachal Pradesh reported one fresh COVID-19 case during the past 24 hours pushing the state’s tally of confirmed cases to 55,243.

On the contrary, seven persons have recuperated from the ailment in the period that dipped its active caseload to 48 and took the total number of recovered cases to 54,915, a senior health official said.

The lone asymptomatic case, confirmed by rapid antigen test, was detected in Yazali CHC under Lower Subansiri district. The state tested 286 samples for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours that took its cumulative count to 11,95,512, he said. 39 of the total active cases are recuperating under home isolation. 280 persons have thus far died due to COVID-19 complications in the state.

Arunachal Pradesh has so far administered 13.76 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses to its eligible populations ever since the launch of the countrywide vaccination campaign in January last.
