Itanagar: Four more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh during the past 24 hours, pushing its tally of confirmed cases to 55,220, a senior health official said.
On the contrary, two persons have recuperated from the disease in the period that upped the total number of recovered cases to 54,896, he said.
Two of the fresh cases were reported from Tawang and one each from Itanagar Capital Complex and West Kameng. Of the total cases, one turned out to be asymptomatic and three symptomatic.
The State has registered 280 fatalities due to COVID-19 complications till now.
Arunachal Pradesh has so far administered over 13.57 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses to its adult citizens.
While 7.83 per cent of beneficiaries have received the first dose of the vaccine, 5.74 lakh were fully vaccinated under the Govt of India’s countrywide inoculation drive.
