Itanagar: As many as 20 people, including five security personnel have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 16,987.
Of the fresh new cases, Lower Dibang Valley (LDV) reported nine, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) and East Siang five each, and Changlang one, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services. Fourteen patients are symptomatic and six asymptomatic.
With this, active cases in the state rose to 122.
On the other hand, three patients were discharged following recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 16,809.
The death toll stood at 56.
