Imphal: The Indian Army conducted a joint operation with Assam Rifles to successfully repel armed miscreants on the night of May 16, 2024. On May 16 at 10:45 PM approximately four to five armed miscreants were spotted opening fire towards Uyok Village.
The Army and Assam Rifles located in Leimaram immediately retaliated by bringing down heavy fire on the armed miscreants.
The Indian Army with Assam Rifles & Police safely evacuated about 75 Meira Paibis to safer location from Waroiching to Leimaram amid the intense firefight.
Army holds medical and dental camp in Manipur
Indian Army conducted a Medical and Dental Camp on Saturday in the Maphou Dam area of Imphal East district, Manipur. The camp addressed the medical requirements of 237 villagers of all ages.
The team of Army Doctors and Dentists provided consultation, treatment and medicines to the villagers. An informative lecture was also conducted specially for children, wherein they were informed about the importance of Oral Hygiene with Do’s and Don’ts.
