Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday paid floral tributes to Valmiki Maharishi on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
YSRCP MLA K Parthasarathy and Chief Minister’s Programme Coordinator Talasila Raghuram were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, AP Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan conveyed his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti.
In a message here today, Harichandan said Maharishi Valmiki was a great author and the first poet who wrote the epic story “Ramayana”.
